about¡¡the¡¡year¡¡1839£»¡¡invented¡¡a¡¡machine¡¡for¡¡riveting¡¡boiler¡¡plates¡¡by

steam¡­power¡£¡¡¡¡The¡¡usual¡¡method¡¡by¡¡which¡¡this¡¡process¡¡had¡¡before¡¡been

executed¡¡was¡¡by¡¡hand¡­hammers£»¡¡worked¡¡by¡¡men¡¡placed¡¡at¡¡each¡¡side¡¡of
